Playful, especially the tug of war with your finger. Great for "pull my finger" jokes! Wink

I have mixed emotions. I really like the playful mode, and think it should be the default out-of-the-box setting. At the same time, it's fun to watch it roam around. Every evening when I get home from work I set it on the floor and put it into roam mode while I wash up and change clothes.

I'm glad that hunter mode is the default since my RR comes out of her hiding place very hungry. After roaming and hunting for 10 minutes, set her into Friendly mode and all is well.

My dormmates find hunter mode the most amusing since it will allow Isabel to pick fights with everything...from people to floorlamps.

Friendly mode though is the most balanced. Keeps her from roaring too much and making a general fuss. Also, has anyone noticed the funny animation that occurs right after RR roams for a min and pauses (in friendly mode only)? It's something like rapid head bobbing and dancing Razz

If only it was possible to program the RR to do that dance at the push of a button...oh you can truly disturb your friends when they come to pet it.

Well, I don't have one yet...but I have read some of the manuals for it, and the playful/friendly mode sounds most appealing to me.

That would be great! Maybe Robert knows if there is a RR IR code to trigger it from his PC application.

Kelvin Read - the producer of the prize winning Robo-News video, did manage to get his RR to make some moves on his cat.

I hope someone does figure the programming out and for other actions as well.

As of today, no one has voted "cautious" as their favorite mode. I personally am one of the many who voted "playful" as the best mode. But I'm curious, what are your reasons for not choosing cautious...does anyone have any specific dislikes about it?

Re: Roboraptor "Happy Dino Dance":

As soon as I'm done with my Robosapien V2 video, I'm going to turn my full attention to adding support to Robosapien Dance Machine for the Roboraptor. I'll take some time to see if I can get him to do the "Happy Dino Dance" on command. Smile
